The Challenge

Corporate gifts often insult you with branded marketing slogans instead of genuine thoughtfulness. We helped Air New Zealand to create beautiful and thoughtful gifts for their staff and customers.


The Solution

We collaborated with Shane Hansen and Hayley King to create large sized works of art that communicated Air New Zealand’s internal brand values. These still hang in Koru Lounges, as constant inspiration to staff and Koru Club members.

We then designed a collection of designer products for their 12,000 global staff Christmas gift, that could be taken home and shared with their families. Simple, practical items, but designed and produced to the highest standards. We had to ensure the products would all pack into into one tin size, that was optimum for world wide distribution. A logistical beast, that took 7 months careful planning.

Special limited edition items were also produced to be used in an internal brand strategy the following year - including 3 beautifully crafted Vibiemme coffee machines and limited edition framed art prints.

High Value Customers

We collaborated with Affinity ID designing the digital and direct mail piece to engage 11,700 high value customers to visit a microsite to select their gift.
